AN INVITATION FROM THE DIRECTOR

Theme verse:  “You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.” Psalm 139

 WELCOME TO RAINBOW TRAIL!

Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp invites you to join us for an outstanding opportunity to share in the love and joy of God’s family.  We are an outreach ministry of the congregations of the Rocky Mountain Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and are located in the heart of the San Isabel National Forest of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.  The majestic wilderness becomes an excellent setting for growth and renewal.   We encourage campers to make new friends and develop new skills while discovering the gifts they already possess.  You will find that Rainbow Trail is a grace-filled place where you can really grow in your faith.  The strength of our ministry is that Christ is the center of all we do.

Our daily Bible Studies for 2027 are based on the theme “EMBRACED.”  In Psalm 139, God reminds that “You have searched me, Lord, and know me.”  In a world where we can feel overlooked, misunderstood, or pressured to be someone else, God knows us completely and welcomes us with open arms. In both joys and challenges of life, God pursues us. As we are EMBRACED by God each day, we are reminded of seven important promises: God is with you, God is for you, God sees you, God hears you, God knows you, God cares about you, and best of all, God loves you! God is. We will discover how these promises shape our lives and the way we care for others. These are promises we can cling to as God holds us up each day!

Rainbow Trail is accredited by the American Camp Association.  This means that we meet the highest standards of the camping industry.  Our summer staff is carefully chosen and well-trained to provide excellent Christian role models for youth.  Come spend a week with us this summer!  We’re eagerly anticipating your arrival!
