AN INVITATION FROM THE DIRECTOR
Theme verse: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
WELCOME TO RAINBOW TRAIL!
Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp invites you to join us for an outstanding opportunity to share in the love and joy of God’s family. We are an outreach ministry of the congregations of the Rocky Mountain Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and are located in the heart of the San Isabel National Forest of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The majestic wilderness becomes an excellent setting for growth and renewal. We encourage campers to make new friends and develop new skills while discovering the gifts they already possess. You will find that Rainbow Trail is a grace-filled place where you can really grow in your faith. The strength of our ministry is that Christ is the center of all we do.
Our daily Bible Studies for 2026 are based on the theme “HANDS WIDE OPEN.” In Philippians 4:6-7, Paul reminds us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Prayer is a central part of the Christian lifestyle. But often we turn God into a prayer vending machine where we ask for things and God is expected to give them to us. But prayer is much more than that. Prayer is direct communication with God that becomes the center of our relationship with God. We will explore five keys areas of an active prayer life including Worship and Praise, Gratitude and Thanksgiving, Confession, Blessings, and Requests and Intercession. When we do have opportunities to bring our requests to God, we also need to be still and ready to listen to what God is telling us as well. This can be life changing!
Rainbow Trail is accredited by the American Camp Association. This means that we meet the highest standards of the camping industry. Our summer staff is carefully chosen and well-trained to provide excellent Christian role models for youth. Come spend a week with us this summer! We’re eagerly anticipating your arrival!
