Dave has been the Executive Director of Rainbow Trail for the past 28 years. He is integral in the design and leadership of our on-site ministries and the day-to-day operations of RTLC.

Ben Jarvis

Ben oversees the On-Site program as well as the Bridging Borders Ministries.  Ben is a life-long camper and staff-member at Rainbow Trail and joined the full-time staff in Fall 2013 after graduating from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.  He has a great passion for the ministry of Rainbow Trail and hopes to bring that passion to others through his work at camp.

DIRECTOR OF COMPASS POINTS AND DAY CAMP MINISTRIES

Sam Berglund

Sam grew up in Helena, Montana and has been hooked on outdoor ministry all of her life. She oversees both the Day Camp and Compass Points programs here at Rainbow Trail and is passionate about kids knowing God’s unconditional love from within their home community to the tops of the Sangre de Cristos mountains.

Faith VerBruggen

Faith has traveled to Rainbow Trail all the way from Green Bay, Wisconsin and can’t wait for a year in the mountains of Colorado. Faith loves camping ministry, and can’t imagine a better life than being outdoors while sharing the love of Jesus with others. Some of Faith’s favorite things are sunsets, coffee, musicals, good books, Chacos, and time spent with family and friends. A recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay, Faith hopes to continue on in camping ministry, and eventually use her degree in Psychology to create camp programming dedicated to sharing the love and hope of Jesus with those struggling with depression and anxiety.

Daniel Kirschbaum

Daniel grew up in Tomah, Wisconsin and has been in love with outdoor ministry his whole life. Daniel spent five summers on staff and was a lifelong camper at a camp in Wisconsin. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Madison in May, he is beyond excited to be exploring the mountains, Colorado, and Rainbow Trail! He loves board games, hiking, canoeing, and worship music and can’t wait to see where God takes him in the next few years!

EXECUTIVE “IT’S PLAY TIME” DIRECTORS

Avery, Cheyenne, Luna, & Dakota

Camp dogs are, without a doubt, part of the Rainbow Trail staff.  They are responsible for leading activities including “Fetch,” “Chase Me!” and “Scratch My Belly!”  These four love when people come to camp to visit, and look forward to play time in the forest.
