Senior High Retreat 2023!

November 17-19, 2023

REGISTRATION OPEN!

The Senior High Retreat is specifically geared for high school youth. This retreat can be an opportunity to connect on the real struggles that high school presents, explore what life after high school might look like, and how we can live faithfully through it all.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be immersed in community on the mountain, in which we will discover and affirm the gifts that God has given us. November in the mountains can be chilly, but also refreshing both physically and spiritually. Join us and other senior high youth in the Synod for a faith adventure in the mountains!

2023 Theme – Coming Soon!

Speaker – Pastor Nicolé Ferry

Many children pretend to be firefighters, teachers, professional athletes, or doctors. But at the age of 10, Pastor Nicolé Raddu Ferry was pretending to offer Holy Communion to her stuffed animals with water and crackers. Since she was told that “girls cannot be pastors,” she began her career as a licensed clinical social worker, earning B.S. and M.S.S.W. degrees from the University of Tennessee and the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She was blessed to work with youth in the public and non-public sectors, and on the staff of three Lutheran churches in Maryland. After discerning a call to ordained ministry, Pastor Nicolé entered the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree. In the summer of 2012, she was ordained by the ELCA and installed as Associate Pastor at Bethlehem. She now preaches and serves bread and wine (and many others things) as the senior pastor and is humbled and grateful to journey with the good people of Bethlehem. Pastor Nicolé is also blessed to serve on the board of Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp and is honored to be a bible study writer for the summer curriculum. Pastor Nicolé greatly enjoys the work on the Rocky Mountain Candidacy Committee. Pastor Nicolé is blessed to have been married to Ray Ferry since 1985 and to be a mom to her amazing children Noah and Blaire.
