***CAMP
GRANDPARENT***
Camp grandparents are basically grown up campers. They participate
in everything the campers are doing, including Bible study, worship,
games, planning with their group, hiking, wood carving, etc. They
play with the campers, worship with them, study and learn with
them, and love them... as one of them.

***MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE
WEEKEND***
The Memorial Day Service Weekend is an annual clean up and spruce
up of camp. There are major projects every year that include,
but are not limited to, putting new roofs on buildings, painting,
and even doing some new construction. There is work and projects
available for all ages. This is a great way to introduce your
family and friends to our wonderful site and staff. There is no
charge for the weekend but you do need to reserve a spot as this
weekend fills very quickly.

***SUMMER VOLUNTEERING***
We have one week volunteer positions available throughout
the summer for those completing their sophomore year of high
school. Most of these volunteers serve as members of our
support staff. Volunteering for a week of camp is a perfect introduction
to the behind-the-scenes happenings of a week at RTLC.

***VOLUNTEER NURSES***
Each summer we hire a full-time nurse to handle the medical
needs for our summer programs. We would also like to have
an additional nurse onsite each week to help with Sunday
registration and assist our Camp Nurse as needed.

***WORK GROUPS***
Rainbow
Trail invites any groups or organizations with a desire to serve
to come and volunteer your labor in exchange for meals and lodging
at camp. One day’s work entitles you to one night’s
lodging and up to 4 meals. Throughout the fall, winter and
spring, there are dozens of projects to be done to help camp
be the quality facility that it is. John Tarrant, our Site
and Facilities Manager, will find just the right project to keep
your group excited and having fun!
