***WHAT
IS A RAINBOW TRAIL AMBASSADOR***
An Ambassador is a representative in a partner congregation
with Rainbow Trail that is willing to share their stories and
the value they have found in camping ministry with Rainbow
Trail. With an an ever increasing need today for people who
see the real and lasting value of the camping experience, especially
for our youth, the Ambassador's role in the congregation is
critical.
***WHAT DOES A RAINBOW TRAIL AMBASSADOR DO***
Ambassadors meet two times a year for weekend retreats to receive training in
preparing to promote the ministries of Rainbow Trail in their congregation. During
these retreats, Ambassadors have the opportunity to meet and talk with fellow
Ambassadors and share ideas and success stories. Information and instruction
packets are given to each Ambassador that include an explanation of our camp
philosophy, examples of camp programming and example articles and promotional
events for them to take home.
***I'M INTERESTED IN BECOMING A RAINBOW
TRAIL AMBASSADOR***
If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador and would like to help your congregation
become more involved with the ministries of Rainbow Trail, please contact RTLC's
Executive Director, Dave Jarvis.
