Come and join together in fellowship with
other men at the Faith For All Seasons Men’s Retreats.
We will play hard, learn and laugh together, enjoy some great
fireside conversations, and have plenty of opportunities to
grow deeper in our relationships, not only with one another,
but also with our Creator.
Each retreat will have a spiritual
leader who will guide us in Bible Study, Christ-centered
conversations and worships during each retreat. The study will
challenge you to grow deeper in your faith and give you the
chance to renew your relationship with Christ.
We will stay in Eagle Peak Lodge while at Rainbow Trail and
enjoy great, hearty, home-cooked meals.
The minimum age for each retreat is 16* years and there is
no maximum age.
*16-17 year olds must be accompanied by at least 1 adult

***SPRING
2008 RETREAT***
April 24-27, 2008

Whether you have made it to the fall
retreat or are brand new to Rainbow Trail’s Faith for
All Seasons Men’s
Retreats, you will experience a time of faith renewal, fellowship
and adventure! This weekend’s adventure will be fly-fishing
in the famed Arkansas River. All novice to expert fishermen
are encouraged to attend. Bible study, worship, and prayer
will be woven into the weekend so that all can walk down the
mountain renewed spiritually, mentally and physically.
SPEAKER & BIBLE STUDY LEADER
Pastor David J. Risendal

Dave was born and raised in Stillwater, Minnesota, a community
thirty miles east of St. Paul, where he grew up throwing worms
at crappies and trolling for walleyes with jigs. Some of his
earliest memories are of rising well before dawn and climbing
into a boat with his dad for a morning of fishing. He was converted
to fly fishing by a colleague in 1989 and has never looked
back.
He serves as pastor at Saint Peter Lutheran Church in Greenwood
Village, Colorado, which is about fifty minutes from Cheeseman
Canyon and ninety minutes from the Blue River (unless it’s
been a few weeks since he has wet a line – in that case
the drive becomes much shorter…). His wife, Betsy, is
a cancer research specialist at the CU Health Sciences Center
in Denver. His boys Brady (11 years-old) and Landon (7 years-old)
currently have other interests than fishing, but Dave is hopeful
that this will eventually change.
***FALL 2008 RETREAT***
September 11-14, 2008

A lush green fairway before you, a club in your hand and your
ball on the tee...sound interesting so far?
Faith on the Fairways
will offer you the opportunity to play 45 holes of golf while
finding the relationships held between our lives of faith and
time spent in the game. Cost of retreat
includes green fees.
SPEAKER & BIBLE STUDY LEADER
Bishop Allan Bjornberg

Rocky Mountain Synod Bishop Allan Bjornberg
will be our study leader focusing on the "Sight and Insight" in
the Gospel of John and lead us in a weekend of faith, fellowship
and deepening our relationships with Christ.
